I flew yesterday and lost the GPS signal (and had a Sky Demon) crash several times. Consequently, I have multiple flight log files for the trip. Is there an easy way of concatenating these files to make a single flight log - albeit with a few gaps here and there.

Flightlogs are, I believe, XML files with a fairly simple structure. Technically you can join them using a simple text editor if you know what you're doing.

After the new flightlog format, how could I merge multiple flightlog files?

Before the change, it was fairly easy and the gpsvisualiser.com could read it as well but now neither seems possible :-(

Once a flightlog has been converted from textual format to binary format, which happens the first time you open a log for analysis or back it up to the cloud, it is no longer straightforward to merge it. Mind you, it wasn't straightforward before, as lots of calculations would have been necessary to make the elapsed time column correct.

thank you guys for the last update. Merging worked perfect an all my logs ;-) Very cool!

Perfect now would be an option inside SkyDemon that doesn't cut logfiles at all when the outage is less then a minute or so. ;-)
